The B&B "All'Orso Poeta" is located in front of Valentino Park, a stone's throw from the Po River and enjoys a splendid view of both the hill and the roofs of Turin. We are very close to Porta Nuova railway station and the historical city center. In a short time, you can reach important tourist sites such as the Egyptian Museum, the Cinema Museum, and the Royal Palace.
The rooms are carefully furnished in every detail, from the furniture and family objects used that make the environment rich in charm, to the most modern comforts to satisfy the most demanding guest.
The "Valentina" room has a panoramic view of Valentino Park while the "Antonella" room allows you to enjoy a large terrace overlooking the Mole Antonelliana, the symbol of the city of Turin.
Breakfast is an important moment of our day. Guests can comfortably use this service while sitting in the breakfast room of the B&B where they will always find typical products of the Piedmontese tradition presented with a rich buffet. I will always be present in the room to meet any specific requests from my guests.
My name is Nicoletta and I am the owner of the facility since its inauguration back in 2006. It's always a pleasure to welcome a new guest and I strive every day with commitment and passion to make their stay special and unique. I am looking forward to seeing you at B&B Orso Poeta!
The Borgo Nuovo, a neoclassical neighborhood built from 1825, was the first expansion of the fortified city. The squares of this ancient village have preserved their identity throughout history and today are suspended in time where getting lost is literally a pleasure. From the busy and noisy streets, one takes Via Mazzini, Via dei Mille and Via della Rocca, so discreet and silent, where historic antique shops, design workshops and modern and contemporary art galleries follow one another. Piazza Bodoni, Piazza Carlina, Piazza Cavour, and Piazza Maria Teresa are delightful corners of Turin where one can deeply experience the peace of the city while admiring the facades of the noble neoclassical palaces in the historic center. The elegance of this residential neighborhood, built at the time for the local aristocracy, reflects the desire to create a rigorous urban plan.
The river and hillside landscape is the backdrop of this part of the city that cannot be missed when visiting Turin for the first time. Away from rush hour, it is enchanting to stop on the bridges admiring the riverbanks of the Po, where prestigious rowing sports clubs are located. Along the Murazzi, best known by the frequenters of Turin's "movida," it is possible to embark on river navigation, fish, and walk along the riverbanks forgetting that you are in the city.
Towards the evening, you will notice a certain "coming and going" in front of the bars and wine bars for the classic and typical aperitivo appointment: you cannot miss the meeting places of the Torinese people, Piazza S. Carlo, and Piazza Vittorio, recently requalified and increasingly lively thanks to the crowded outdoor seating of cafes and historic restaurants.
